The Familiar Stranger

My tread along the beach
The roaring calmness of the sea
Coolness scattered all over the air
All I felt was the divine glee

Adding to its richness
My eyes merged with her vision
Its was when my heart pounded
My heart skipped a beat all of a sudden

"Long time no see"
Fitted perfectly on the moment
Dilemma quite consumed me in
Was it a bliss or a hit by lament?

No fade in her fineness
Her beauty yet grips the charm
Eyes with that elegant shine
Piercing me, causing the sweet harm

Reality pulled me back
For I could never have her love
The fact gulped me down the throat
Feeling of regret left me the shove

The broken trust by me
No way to fix that I could see
Holding myself was all I could do
Reagining the trust would be forever for me

Taking a leave
We both walked away
Not a word quite uttered
The painful silence made us sway

The misfortune that I lost someone
A being so much worthy, so much better
Disrespect was all I gifted to that love of mine
Someone who is now just a familiar stranger!
